Mr. Gabriel Wetangula

Mr. Gabriel Wetangula has vast experience in the geothermal industry spanning over 20 years, [since 1997].

He is a holder of a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management (Wildlife, Forestry, Tourism, Rangeland & Water Resources), Master of Science in Environmental Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Geothermal Technology, and in final semester of award of PhD. in Environmental Science.

Mr. Gabriel has published several research papers on environmental issues and geothermal in journals and also presented at international conferences and workshops.

He is the Manager of Environment at the Geothermal Development Company, GDC.

Previously, Mr. Gabriel was the Deputy Manager, Environment and Central Rift at GDC and a former environmental scientist at the Kenya Electricity Generating Company, KenGen.
