ABOUT GAK

The Geothermal Association of Kenya (GAK) is a national umbrella body that brings together stakeholders in the geothermal sector in Kenya for a common goal.

The Association was registered in Kenya by the Registrar of Societies in 2010 to encourage, facilitate, and promote the coordination of activities related to local and worldwide research, development, and application of geothermal resources. It is a non-political, non-governmental, and non-profit organization.

The Geothermal Association of Kenya is an affiliate member of the International Geothermal Association (IGA).

AGM

The Members’ Annual General Meeting is the top decision-making organ of GAK.

The AGM is held not later than six months after the financial year-end.

Members have the opportunity to review the previous 12 months and pass key decisions for the following year.
