We convened our second stakeholders meeting as part of our ongoing efforts to secure the bid to host the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟗. The meeting brought together key players in Kenya’s geothermal sector and served as a valuable platform for collaboration and dialogue. It marked another important step toward advancing our mission to drive growth in the geothermal industry both nationally and across the region.

Speaking at the stakeholders meeting, Ministry of Energy of Kenya PS, ALEX WACHIRA , CBS noted that the stakes are high, but the potential rewards are immense.

“Hosting hashtag#WGC_2029 will cement Kenya’s position as Africa’s geothermal hub, attract significant investments and partnerships as well as showcase Kenya’s success stories.”, said PS ALEX WACHIRA,CBS.

He went on to rally for collaboration with the stakeholders urging them to provide support and expertise noting that this is a historic opportunity not just for Kenya, but for Africa as a whole.

“To achieve this goal, we must continue working together with unity and focus.”-PS WACHIRA,CBS.
