There will be pre-conference and Post conference field trips to geothermal sites in Kenya if sufficient interests are received. The fee for the field trips is as indicated. In case of little interests, participants will either be requested to join other teams or will get back their money. Please register for the field trip(s) of your choice by 15 October 2011.

Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th November 2011	2 days	Pre-conference field trip 1: Visit to Menengai Geothermal Project Sunday 20th November 2011 Depart Nairobi at 7.30 am. Drive to Menengai, Nakuru. Tour the geothermal facilities. Drive back to Nairobi arriving at 5 pm. Pre-conference field trip 2: Visit to Olkaria Geothermal Project Sunday 20th November 2011 Depart Nairobi at 7.30 am. Drive to Olkaria, Naivasha. Visit Oserian Flower Farm, Olkaria Geothermal Power Plants and Hell's Gate National Park. Drive back to Nairobi arriving at 5 pm. Pre-conference field trip 3: Visit to Menengai Geothermal project and Lake Bogoria Hot Springs Saturday 19th November 2011 Depart Nairobi at 7:30 am. Drive to Nakuru and visit Menengai Geothermal Project. Drive to Lake Bogoria hot springs area. Stay overnight at lake Bogoria Hotel. Sunday 20th November 2011 Depart Lake Bogoria Hotel at 7:30 am. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park and then back to Nairobi arriving at 5pm. Pre-conference field trip 4: Visit to Menengai & Olkaria Geothermal Projects Saturday 19th November 2011 Depart Nairobi at 7:30 am. Drive to Nakuru with stopover at the Eastern Escarpment to view the rift floor. Visit Menengai geothermal Project and Lake Nakuru National Park. Stay overnight in Nakuru town. Sunday 20th November 2011 Visit Olkaria Geothermal Project. Drive back to Nairobi arriving at 5 pm.	160 180 320 350
