Kenya Geothermal Conference KGC 2011

21st – 23rd November 2011, Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi, Kenya

Welcome to the Kenya Geothermal Conference 2011, the premier geothermal power conference in Kenya. COUNTRIES the world over are constantly searching for diverse energy sources to help power their growing economies, industries and populations. Kenya is now developing geothermal energy to reduce reliance on hydro and thermal generated electricity.

This year, the Geothermal Association of Kenya (GAK) together with its partners will host the inaugural Kenya Geothermal Conference from 21st – 23rd November 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference will feature distinguished speakers, scientists, engineers, financiers and other key players in the geothermal and energy sector in Kenya.

The conference will also open its doors to exhibitors to showcase their projects, equipment and services. Delegates will have a field trip to geothermal projects in Kenya’s Rift Valley.

During the conference delegates will:

  • Exchange of views, knowledge and experience among the participants from diverse countries in the world related to geothermal research, development, use and direct use applications
  • Learn from current lessons and years of valuable experience in development and applications of geothermal energy and technology
  • Network and explore possible cooperation, partnerships and business relationships among participants in the field of Geothermal Energy development
